Fundraising Challenges
Why not do something amazing by taking part in a life-changing challenge that will provide you with the experience of a lifetime and raise much-needed funds for our projects? You can organise a group event with your friends or join an open challenge yourself. The challenges include mountain treks to Kilimanjaro or Everest Base Camp, following the Machu Picchu trail in Peru, trekking the Great Wall of China or bike rides in India.
If you prefer to join a community project adventure you will find yourself making a real contribution to local communities in Tanzania in addition to fundraising for AMECA.
The Really Wild Travel Company has developed a new challenge for medics, nurses and physiotherapy students. This challenge offers students a really exciting opportunity in Tanzania involving both clinical experience in an African hospital and also a chance to make a real contribution to a local community in need, by helping to renovate a rural clinic. Students will be fundraising in support of The AMECA Trust, their nominated charity.
